Vijayaraghavan to speak on success of Technopark in Kerala, lessons for Colombo

The Executive Committee of the Sri Lanka India Society has organised a dinner on Sunday 6 September at the Taj Samudra starting from 7:30 p.m. to commemorate the Independence Day of India that fell on 15 August.GVR Photo

The Sri Lanka India Society is one of the oldest societies in existence in Sri Lanka and this year the society has invited Govindan Vijayaraghavan to be the keynote speaker at the event. Vijayaraghavan as a CEO conceptualised, planned and implemented India’s first electronic technopark and marketed it worldwide. The Technopark in Trivandrum, Kerala that he established is still considered the best in Asia.

Vijayaraghavan is a graduate in electrical engineering and has held many prominent positions in his illustrious career.

The Chief Guest will be Y.K. Sinha, High Commissioner for India in Sri Lanka.
