Venora Chief Sagara appointed BOI Board Director

President Mahinda Rajapaksa has appointed Deshamanya Sagara Gunawardana as a Board Director to the Board of Investment under Minister of Investment Promotions Minister Lakshman Yapa Abeywardana.

Gunawardana is an engineer by profession and the Managing Director of Venora Group of Companies. He is also a Board member of the National Construction Association Sri Lanka and the Ceylon Institute of Builders Sri Lanka, Co-Chairman of World Construction Symposium and also a member of European Business Assembly – UK. He is a Senior Advisor to Abeywardana and a past pupil of Richmond College Galle.
