US Exim Bank assures boost for Lankan exports

The Chairman of the Exim Bank of USA Fred P. Hochberg stated that his bank will assist Sri Lanka to strengthen its exports. 

Exim Bank is a leading export-import bank in the US. Exim Bank Chairman Hochberg pointed out that Sri Lanka had embarked on a strong economic journey. Therefore, Exim Bank was ready to assist in the export production sector in Sri Lanka.

Hochberg expressed these views during a meeting with Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake at the Ministry of Finance.

It is also significant to welcome a Chairman of the Exim Bank of USA to Sri Lanka after several years. The US Ambassador to Sri Lanka Atul Keshap was also present at this event.
