UltraTech Cement reinforces leadership position

UltraTech Cement Ltd., a part of $ 41 billion Aditya Birla Group and a major player in the global Cement industry, for the third year running has topped India’s Nielsen Corporate Image Monitor 2014-2015, continuing to occupy the uppermost position. 

The Group, which is in the ‘League of Fortune 500’ has topped India’s Nielsen’s Corporate Image Monitor for the third time, succeeding and emerging as ‘Best in Class’ across the six pillars of Corporate image, namely; Products and Service Quality, Vision and Leadership, Workplace Management, Financial Performance, Operating Style and Social Responsibility.  This is an imperative testament to UltraTech Cement Ltd.’s ‘Group brand, governance standards, transparency, customer primacy and CSR engagement’.

Nielsen’s Corporate Image Monitor survey measures the reputation of 42 leading companies in India across several sectors, being conducted among policy makers, media, NGOs, financial community, investors, corporate executives, corporate elites, talent pool, and the general public, with a total sample size of 2,000 people. The findings of the survey serve as an important indicator of the strength of the corporate brand, providing UltraTech cement with the ultimate testament of their high performance-driven and innovative etiquette.
