Having organised successful TEXTECH series of exhibitions in Sri Lanka, CEMS Global will launch its eighth edition on 9 March concurrent with three comprehensive international expos focused on the entire textile and apparel sector which provides a unique B2B platform that facilitates firms to further compete in the global arena.
The eighth TEXTECH Sri Lanka 2017 will be held along with 26th DyeChem Sri Lanka 2015 Int’l Expo and the eighth Colombo Int’l Yarn and Fabric Show from 9 to 11 March at Sri Lanka Exhibition and Convention Centre (SLECC), Colombo.
“With a vision to further expand into the fast booming Sri Lankan industry sector, our intention is not only to hold the exhibition, but also to showcase the development of business and trade in Sri Lanka,” CEMS-Global USA and Asia Pacific Group CEO S.S. Sarwar told journalists in Colombo.
TEXTECH Sri Lanka has seen great appreciation from the entire textile and apparel industry of the country and also a 40% rise in the number of exhibitors every year. This year the exhibition will bring together over 200 stalls of worldwide manufacturers and distributors from over six countries.
He asserted that repeat exhibitors were a great testament of confidence that the businesses have in Sri Lanka terming it a great achievement by the country.
The TEXTECH, DyeChem and Yarn and Fabric are CEMS Global’s international series of exhibitions which are held in the same name in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Brazil and Indonesia with Dye+Chem and Yarn and Fabric Series being held in six countries in addition to the above countries i.e. India and Singapore.
Keeping in mind the potential of this sector and to further boost the exports, CEMS Global has been organising the TEXTECH series of exhibitions since 17 years and introduced this international branded exhibition to Sri Lanka as there was a need for such exhibition in the country that could display the latest technology that the country can obtain to update with the quality of the competitors in the world market.
