Star Points awards its top merchant partners

Sri Lanka’s largest rewards network, Star Points, felicitated its Merchant Partner network at a gala ceremony held at the Cinnamon Lakeside in Colombo.

Leading clothes retailer, Fashion Bug, took home the Gold Award for transactions in the Group category, followed by exclusive menswear specialist, Hameedia, who took home the Silver and DSI the Bronze. Thillkawardena Textiles, Savindi Trade Centre and Alankulama Holdings took home the honours in the individual establishment category respectively.

Fashion Bug was also awarded for the highest number of Star Points transactions, whilst DSI showed the highest growth in transactions.

The programme was hosted to recognise and felicitate the 400-plus merchant network of Star Points, who have contributed to the network in numerous forms over the past year.  

Star Points is Sri Lanka’s largest loyalty programme with over 400 partner merchants and more than 20,000 partner outlets island wide. All Dialog Mobile customers can earn Star Points from the merchant-partner network, which encompasses multiple retail sectors. Star Points are redeemable at a constant face value of Rs. 1 per point across the entire network.
