Sri Lanka, South Korea discuss expansion of employment opportunities for Sri Lankans

Minister of External Affairs Prof. G.L. Peiris with his South Korean counterpart has discussed expanding employment opportunities for Sri Lankans in South Korea. Minister Peiris has held bilateral discussions with Yun Byung-se, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea on the sidelines of the

Democracy Forum in Bali, Indonesia. The talks focused on trade and investment, as well as cooperation on political issues and the expansion of employment opportunities for Sri Lankans in the Republic of Korea, the External Affairs Ministry said. Prof. G.L. Peiris briefed his South Korean counterpart comprehensively on current political and economic developments in Sri Lanka, the Ministry further stated.
