Spice Island has received the globally acclaimed Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Certification for its brand of personal care product range.

GMP refers to a set of guidelines recognised worldwide for the proper management of the manufacturing and quality control processes of food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics products.

Spice Island is still Sri Lanka’s first and only global personal care brand, which has gained remarkable popularity especially in the US market, where since its inception in 2008, it is occupying shelf space in iconic Hollywood boutiques such as Fred Segal, Clyde’s and Beauty collection, as well Naime’s, the Hollywood makeup and beauty store for all the major film studios in Los Angeles.  It also retails exclusively with herbal beauty shops on the West & East Coast of America, such as The Health Shoppe, Natural Awakenings, AVEYOU and other online retailers www.dermstore.com – America’s largest online beauty retailer and www.apothica.com. Spice Island is available locally only in select boutiques and stores: Odel Ward Place, Odel Dutch Hospital and Odel Queens Hotel, Kandy. Spice Island can also be found at Barefoot in Colombo and Galle, and Cantaloupe Boutique at Galle Face Court.
