South Asia delegation of the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises in Tourism Sri Lanka (ASMET) held bilateral discussions with Primary Industries Minister Daya Gamage on Tuesday.
The representatives headed by ASMET Chairman Mirza Nurul Ghani Shovon put forward the importance of empowering primary industries in Sri Lanka and they conveyed their intention to invest in the local SME sector. In addition, they stressed their interest on holding imports and exports with Sri Lanka to strengthen the economic relation between Sri Lanka and South Asian countries such as India and Bangladesh.
Primary Industries Ministry Secretary Bandula Wickramarachchi and ASMET former Chairman Sam Teagal were present at the meeting.
