SLSBC organises top business delegation to Singapore

The Sri Lanka-Singapore Business Council (SLSBC) of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will be organising a Trade and Investment Promotion Mission to Singapore from 29 July-1 August.

The mission is planned to coincide with the IE-SBF Seminar on Business Opportunities in Sri Lanka followed by one-to one business meetings organised by the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), supported by International Enterprise (IE) Singapore and in association with the Sri Lankan High Commission in Singapore.

SBF is the Apex Business Chamber in Singapore with over 18,000 members and International Enterprise (IE) Singapore is the Government Agency driving Singapore’s external economy and promoting the overseas growth of Singapore-based enterprises and international trade.

The 19-member delegation will be led by SLSBC President Shamil Mendis, Chairman/Managing Director of Spear Global Holdings Ltd.

The mission is co-ordinated by The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Management Executive Michelle Fernando.

In addition to the IE-SBF Seminar and related business meetings which is expected to be attended by close to a 100 Singapore companies, the delegation will have the opportunity to participate at a series of meetings with senior officials and members of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Sri Lankan High Commission in Singapore will host the delegates to a networking session with the members of the Singapore Sri Lanka Business Association (SLBA) during the mission and other special invitees with specific interests in business with Sri Lanka.
