“The students were tested on their concentration, confidence, intelligence, speed and accuracy. The 10th National Competition in Sri Lanka has enthused. It is heartening to see the competitive spirit amongst these children and their self-confidence which is essential for life,” SIP Academy Sri Lanka Country Manager Rishard Raheem said during his welcome address.
The Guest Speaker Inthikab Zufer, Consultant – Colombo University of Post Graduate & Trainer, Lecturer – American College said that it was encouraging to see such a large number of children participating since the development in the world is moving very fast and we must be prepared to think better.

Certified Brain Gym Instructor (USA) and Brain Gym Consultant Daphnie Wong said she was very happy to be a part of this competition and also explained the benefit of the Brain Gym exercise. Kelvin Tham founder of SIP Academy and Sanjeev Menon, Head of Program Delivery also graced the occasion.
SIP Academy Sri Lanka which was incepted in 2004 is a skill development organisation. The ‘world-class’ program for children is designed for children of age 5 to 15 years that improves their learning skills. SIP Academy is the only Abacus Organisation in the world which promises five times improvement in arithmetic skills among children through its SIP Abacus Program.
SIP Academy Sri Lanka has more than 19 SIP Learning Centres in Borella, Dematagoda, Delgoda, Grandpass, Kotahena, Mattakuliya, Kollannawa, Kalubowila, Narahenpita, Makola, Colpetty, Wellawatte, Wattala, Negambo, Rajagiriya, Kiribathgoda, Kathankuddy, Gampola and Malwana conduct the SIP Abacus & Brain Gym program.
