Singer successfully enters central air conditioning market

Singer has successfully entered the central air conditioning market with the recent formation of the Singer Central Air Conditioning Division. Singer’s dominant market position in consumer durable goods and strong domestic air conditioning business formed the foundation for Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC to launch its Central A/C Division in Sri Lanka. The Singer Central A/C Division, which is supported by an outstanding group of professional engineers, has already acquired 10 major commercial projects worth over 200 million rupees to become a major player in the market within a short span of time. Globally reputed commercial A/C brands have tied-up with Singer as suppliers to the Central A/C Division. These includes Japanese brand Mitsubishi inverter/standard unitary products and VRF systems, American brand Carrier unitary products/air cool ducted package units and Carrier VRF, Toshiba VRF systems and other light commercial products, and Fujiair, supplying a full range of heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) products, all of which can be incorporated for domestic and commercial/industrial purposes.             The Singer Central A/C Division has effectively catered to major corporate clients from the point of making correct product recommendations by providing a professional design, installation, commissioning and maintenance service, and the timely completion of projects and island wide after-sales support.
