Sharanyan wins young entrepreneur award for Northern Province

Sharanyan Sharma has won the Sri Lanka Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Northern Province, at the annual competition organised by the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry. Sharanyan Sharma with the Chairman of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sri Lanka Ajith Wattuhewa at the Seasons Hotel in Kurunegala   He is a young entrepreneur who has achieved national- and regional-level achievements while operating from Vavuniya, a once war-torn northern town in Sri Lanka. He started his own venture, extreme-seo.net, in 2006 from scratch and is now providing employment to more than 60 people in Vavuniya and more than 45 people globally. He participated as a country delegate at the Commonwealth Asia Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs (CAAYE) Summit in Mumbai, an occasion which is regarded as one of the most popular networking events for young entrepreneurs. He also won the award for ‘Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year Sri Lanka – 2013’ at the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards (APEA) in Sri Lanka.
