With increasing fatal accidents due to catastrophic failures in boilers, Small and Medium Enterprises Developers the technical arm of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sri Lanka (FCCISL)  has initiated a series of awareness and educational programs which will cover many aspects of Boiler design, fabrication, selection, procurement, installation, operation and maintenance.

The loss of life and the financial implications are a major concern to the corporate leaders as well as the government.

To initiate action SMED/FCCISL has organised an evening seminar on 26 January at JAIC Hilton, from 3.30 pm to 7.30p.m. for CEOs and senior managers of companies as well as those who fabricate or import boilers and pressure vessels and other service providers.

The objective of this seminar is to sensitize and create awareness on this vital subject among the decision makers.

The seminar will cover specific subjects such as boiler specification, standards, quality control and testing, and national laws governing safety. Seminar will be conducted by very experienced and knowledgeable resource persons. For further details contact Project SMED- Ravindi 2304253/ 07773888726
