Sri Lanka is to play host to the Seaspan Ship Management (Vancouver) Officers Forum for the second time, on 1 June 2012.
In collaboration with their manning agents in Sri Lanka, Ceyline Shipping Ltd., Seaspan Ship Management, a world leading independent container ship owner, has arranged a multinational, two-day forum at the Cinnamon Grand. The forum delegates range from Sri Lanka, India, Cananda, and Ukrain. The official theme of the forum will be ‘Managing Risk: Facing Challenges Together’.
The first forum held in 2010 in Sri Lanka was greatly successful making it possible to once again hold this event in 2012. In the past it has proved to boost Sri Lanka’s maritime industry, seafarer community and prospective entrants to a career of seafaring. In this time of economic growth and development an event of this magnitude could further boost the industry and provide more opportunities for Sri Lanka.

Seaspan Ship Management recently celebrated its 10 year anniversary and it now proud to say, have taken active steps in the reduction of emission pollution by adopting a ship energy efficiency plan.
