Saldin appointed to Sierra Cables Board

P. Rimoe Saldin has been appointed as a Director to the Board of Sierra Cables Plc with effect from 19 March. He has over 15 years of experience at top management level in the areas of finance, human resource development, general management and operations.  Saldine serves as Group Chief Operating Officer of the Browns Group and Director/CEO of Browns Investments Plc. He also serves on the Boards of a number of companies.

He was previously the Country Controller for Royal Dutch Shell in Sri Lanka and Finance Director of Shell Gas Lanka Ltd. He also served as Group Finance Director and Commercial Director of CIC Holdings Plc, and Managing Director of Cisco Security Packaging Ltd.

Saldin is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants UK, and a Certified Management Accountant, Australia.
