Royal Ceramics Plc yesterday did its own role as part of the Government initiated Deyata Sevana national tree planting programme as salutation to President Mahinda Rajapaksa who will be sworn in for his second term on Friday.
The Government programme conducted yesterday saw the planting of 1.1 million saplings countrywide within 11 minutes starting from 10.07 am. Royal Ceramics yesterday planted 1,000 saplings at its newest plant at Kiriwaththuduwa in Homagama.
