Richard Peiris Tyre Company impressively hosts Annual Dealer Convention

Richard Peiris Tyre Company felicitated its dealers, who delivered exemplary results, with awards at the company’s Annual Dealer Convention held at Hotel Citrus Leisure in Waskaduwa. Award winners had the privilege of receiving their awards from Richard Peiris Group of Companies Group Director Vivil Perera and Richard Peiris Tyre Company CEO Pradeep Samaratunga.

The annual dealer convention was graced by two senior managers from India’s Birla Tyre Company and world famous Nexen Tyre Company in Korea. 

This year the company invited 100 dealers who performed exceptionally well and their families to participate at the event. 

The two-day event saw awards being presented to the best dealers on the first day. Resource person, Professor Attanayake M. Herath’s insightful lecture on the second day attracted both dealers and their families. 

As has been the practice, this year too tyre sales champions connected with both trading and re-trading wings were recognised with special awards in several categories. 

The year’s best dealers of Arpidag, Arpico Rebuild, Arpi-Radial, Arpidag Hybrid with Nexen and Birla were recognised with special awards.

Sisira Tyre House Rambukkana Proprietor W.A.W.W. Sisira Kumara clinched the All Island award in the Tyre Retreading sector as the best dealer while the second and third places in the category were secured by Shanthi Tyre Mart Dikwella Managing Director H.M.T.J. Shanthiratne and Supiri Tyre Kandy Chairman Kithsiri Bandara.

Similarly, the prestigious award for the best dealer of the Tyre Trading sector (covering the whole island) was secured by Jayantha Brothers Ambalangoda Owner S.J. Winnie. Second and third prizes in this category were secured by V.S.K. Tyre Traders Kandy Owner H.K.D.W.M.A. Divaratne and Gamini Tyre Works Pallebedda Proprietor Gamini Chandraratne.

Addressing the dealers’ award ceremony, Richard Peiris Tyre Company CEO Pradeep Samaratunga said the company’s core objective is to introduce world-class products to the Sri Lankan marketplace via the strong and dedicated team of dealers and timely distribution of the products island wide for the convenience of the end-users.

Stringent quality standards of our tires have helped the tire dealers to secure and enhance their sales volumes,” he said.

He added, “We have built healthy relationships with our tyre dealers. Hence they take the ownership of selling Richard Peiris tyres. Every year we have a cordial get-together with these tire dealers and their families to strengthen those relationships.”
