Printcare PLC, Sri Lanka’s global player in the printing and packaging industry, reaffirmed its position as the most innovative and high quality printing and packaging exporter in the country by winning all three awards on offer in the carton packaging category at the recently concluded COLLATE 2014 print competition. COLLATE 2014 is a competition organised by the Sri Lanka Association of Printers which brings together some of the best commercial output in printing and packaging. This is a bi-annual event that attracted 1086 entries from printing and packaging companies across the country. “This is the second time we have won all three awards in the cartons category, substantiating our consistency in quality but more importantly our dedication to innovation. It is equivalent to winning the Gold, Silver and Bronze in a competition. We pride ourselves in being focused on a few areas that we can be world class in, and I’m glad we were able to show case our capabilities,” commented Printcare Group Assistant General Manager R. Grero. In addition to sweeping the cartons category, Printcare also picked up the Gold award in Annual Reports, the Silver and Bronze award in point of sale materials, and a Bronze award in the pictorial calendars category. The only printer selected as a Business Superbrand, Printcare is a leader in the printing and packaging industries. Well known for being the global leader in tea bag tags and envelopes, supplying the world’s most reputed tea brands, Printcare is now a diversified printing and packaging exporter that supplies packaging and self adhesive labels to the apparel and FMCG sectors, security printing for the lotteries and telecom industries, printing and binding for the publishing industry, and specialised digital media for the education industry.
