PC House has been named the runner-up in the ICT Services sector at the National Business Excellence Awards 2011, conducted by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka recently. The National Business Excellence Awards recognises business enterprises which have demonstrated excellence in business, whilst contributing to the economic progress of the country.
As the market leader, PCH has maintained renewed performance and new perspective with the Company’s strategic corporate re-branding, branch expansions including the opening of its popular 9to9 showroom, the incorporation of several new subsidiaries in various local and international enterprises, as well as in the recruitment of talented industry personnel.
Additionally, PC House has also been playing an active part in the empowering the Nation’s ICT literacy rate with various educative and inspiring programmes conducted island wide.
The National Business Excellence Awards is an annual award competition recognising and rewarding business enterprises including contributions made by business enterprises to the economic progress of the country, creating capacity for economic growth and employment generation, building sustainable market competitiveness, institutionalising best practices and business excellence, and demonstrating capacity to invest. The companies that won in this year’s program represent the best in Sri Lankan business.

PCH has won this accreditation for the innovative products and concepts it has introduced to the Sri Lankan ICT industry. Over the past few years, PC House has increased popular nine to nine super stores, extended its island-wide branch network, added the popular ‘PCH shopping cart’, upgraded customer loyalty schemes, as well as installed IT helpdesks in Universities in the constant quest to uplift nation’s ICT standards.
