The Pakistan Sri Lanka Business Forum (PSLBF) should focus on some core areas of trade opportunities which have great potential such as tourism, finance and infrastructure development, the President of the Forum Tarek M. Khan has proposed.

The President of PSLBF addressing a business networking dinner reception hosted at the Sri Lanka Consulate General in Karachi recently has said that the two countries can complement each other in trade and learn from each other’s experiences.

The PSLBF President reviewing the current trade between Sri Lanka and Pakistan has said that the forum has developed a strategy which will provide necessary platform for the business community to enhance two-way trade.

The PSLBF is looking forward to enhance the bilateral trade from the current level of US$ 400 million.

Pakistan exports cement, fruits, vegetables, and rice while importing spices and tea from Sri Lanka.

The PSLBF President has added that the forum will also be focusing on providing investment opportunities to establish businesses in Sri Lanka.
