Pakistan Naval ship delegation visits Colombo Dockyard

Pakistan Naval Ship PNS Shamsheer delegation led by Cdr. Asim Malik paid a goodwill visit to Colombo Dockyard PLC on 13 May 2014. The visit was organised by the Sri Lanka Navy to bring awareness of the facilities available in Colombo to meet maritime requirements in region. The presentation on Colombo Dockyard was conducted by Colombo Dockyard PLC, NB Head of Marketing Prince Lye and the delegation was also afforded an escorted tour of the Shipyard’s building and repair facilities and workshop.

The delegation expressed their extreme satisfaction of the performance and capabilities of Colombo Dockyard and congratulated the Shipyard for the remarkable performance and conveyed confidence that the Shipyard would reach greater heights in the future. In conclusion of the tour, the delegation presented a commemorative plaque to Prince Lye.
