Oriflame last night presented its latest limited edition “Otara handbag” which is set to create excitement in the local market.
The handbag is geared to make a statement of who the owner of the bag is, and represent how trendy they are.
Otara Gunewardene the fashion icon and the lady behind the Odel brand, noted that this bag is “designed to suit every lifestyle with a combination of style, convenience and elegance.”
This is set to become one among many other plans to work with other famous Sri Lankan designers and beauticians on signature products in months to come.
Become the first product inspired by a local personality in the country, the Otara Handbag signifies the seamless fusion of two giants in their respective fields, each complementing the other.
Oriflame Sri Lanka Managing Director Erik Stenback noted Otara Gunawardene to be a “modern day legend” and a brand in herself having carved an irreplaceable niche as a fashion icon beyond compare.
“The Otara Handbag is set to create excitement among the Sri Lankan clientele and take personal accessories to a totally different level altogether,” Stenback said.
Oriflame currently operates out of its state-of-the-art head office in Colombo and regional centres in Kandy, Gampaha, Galle and Jaffna. It also has a strong presence in other major towns across the country.
