Oman keen to invest in Lanka’s energy sector

Undersecretary of Ministry of Oil and Gas in Oman and Chairman of Oman Oil Company Nasser bin Khamis Al Jashmi met Minister of Economic Development Basil Rajapaksa yesterday in Colombo.

The Omani Minister expressed his Government’s willingness to invest in Sri Lanka’s energy sector. He said the Oman Government would extend all its assistance to develop Sri Lanka as an energy hub in the region. Minister of Petroleum Susil Premajayantha and his Ministry high officials and Oman investors also participated at this discussion
