National Construction Association lauds Convertainers’ unique design

Wins ‘The Most Conceptualised Stall’ award

The innovative lifestyle concept, ‘#1 The Green Convertainers Villa’ of Logiventures was recognised by the National Construction Association of Sri Lanka as ‘The Most Conceptualised Stall 2013’ at the Construct 2013 exhibition. Speaking on the occasion, Logiventures Director Janitha Jayanetti stated: “We are truly honoured to receive this award from the National Construction Association of Sri Lanka. Both the judges and the audience loved the way in which we presented our unique concept.”

Sharing his thoughts on ‘#1 The Green Convertainers Villa,’ Jayanetti said: “With this project we decided against simply reconfiguring the look of a shipping container. The team poured their energy into creating a unique brand which brings together superior exterior and interior design for a cost effective solution, and their efforts have been rewarded at this forum. Offering a glimpse into what we can do with shipping containers, it is an embodiment of convertainers’ creativity and capability. Treating it as a work of art, we have also managed to create an interior that stands out from a regular living space.” Logiventures is recognised for delivering beyond expectations, through continuous innovation and focus in meeting current and future needs of its global customer base at all times. Their efforts in developing exciting new solutions in container cabins have led to this being the second occasion on which they have received this award. In 2011, the company won ‘The Most Conceptualised Stall’ for the holiday retreat concept they had presented. Logiventures Ltd., a subsidiary of Hayleys Advantis Ltd., was established in 2003 in the pursuit of becoming a premier logistics solutions provider. More than 10 years later, the company continues on its successful journey, with its sights set on becoming a global benchmark for both design and development of container cabins, featured as Convertainers.
