National Chamber to hold session with Thai Ambassador tomorrow

A session on ‘Bilateral trade between Sri Lanka and Thailand’ with the Thai Ambassador will be held on Thursday 12 February from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Chamber Auditorium No 450 D.R. Wijewardene Mw, Colombo 10.
Ambassador of Thailand in Sri Lanka Nopporn Adchariya Vanich will grace the occasion as Special Guest speaker accompanied by First Secretary of the Royal Thai Embassy. He will speak on the current business trend, trade potential, opportunities for export, import, investment/ and other services available in Thailand.
At present Sri Lanka exports to Thailand – mainly diamonds, precious stones, gems, wheat flour, apparel, insulated wire, cable and other insulated electric conductors; winding wires, retreated or used pneumatic tyres of rubber etc.
Sri Lanka imports from Thailand – fish, dried or salted smoked fish, plastics and articles thereof, cane or beet sugar chemically pure sucrose, in solid form, cement etc.
