National Agribusiness Council (NAC) and the USAID funded Practical Action signed a MOU recently at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce for the ‘Ag Biz North’ Exhibition.
The main objective to enter for an MOU is to work as one unit to organise the Ag Biz North Exhibition to bring modern agriculture technologies for the farmers of the North and to create a platform to engage all stakeholders of the agribusiness chain.
The MOU was signed by NAC Secretary Rohitha Nanayakkara and Practical Action Country Director Vishaka Hidellage.
The exhibition will be held on 26 and 27 July 2013 at the Central College Grounds, Kilinochchi under the theme ‘Re-awakening North’. The exhibition will comprise more than 60 stalls covering agriculture, fisheries, live stock and process food sectors.
