In keeping with the global trend in business consulting, MTI will be rolling out the concept of ‘results-driven consulting’ in Sri Lanka in 2013.
Titled ‘Resultants,’ the new concept would involve MTI working on highly-focused and results-driven assignments, where a majority of the MTI rewards will be based on mutually-agreed outcomes and results.
“The global economic downturn has ‘forced’ many a business to reinvent itself by focusing on direct-to-bottom-line value. Globally, the consulting industry was among the first to respond to this challenge and sees it as an opportunity to focus on what matters to the bottom-line of the business in a sustainable manner,” said Hilmy Cader, CEO of MTI Consulting
He added: “Being a resultant gives our consultants and analysts the latitude to have a laser beam focus on the direct result drivers, thus cutting off the burden of non-value adding frills that many businesses carry.”
The process involves an initial diagnostics to define the scope of the Resultant exercise, after which both parties sign off on the outcomes, limits and discretionary areas.
MTI Consulting, Sri Lanka’s leading strategy consultancy (with a growing international network), has been at the forefront of innovation in consulting, having rolled out several innovative consulting solutions and best practices.
This new solution will provide Sri Lankan clients the opportunity to overcome some of their key business challenges and explore new opportunities, without the usual high upfront fixed costs. International industry analysts see this as a win-win solution and way forward for the global consulting industry.
