Metropolitan and SLIM reward Best SLIM Marketing Student

Metropolitan joined hands with the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) in felicitating the most outstanding marketing student of 2010, recognising the importance of marketers in the private sector and the value of professional education for career enhancement.

P.S.L. Jayasundara who won the most outstanding marketing student award for 2010, at the annual SLIM graduation ceremony, received a gold medal and cash reward awarded by Metropolitan. The best student was selected based on his achievements throughout the course period and the final selection was made by the Council of Education at SLIM.

“We are very pleased to be a part of the graduation ceremony of Sri Lanka’s marketing crème. Metropolitan is a strong supporter of professional education and career enhancements. We have a larger team that specialises in the field of marketing, therefore lending hands to marketing professionals who have been groomed under institution like SLIM is important to us,” said Dulani Nissanka, General Manager, Group HR at Metropolitan.
