Mahesha appointed to Boards of Kelani Valley Plantations, Talawakelle Tea Estates

Top professional and Director of Hayleys Plc Dr. K.I. Mahesha Ranasoma has been appointed to the Boards of Kelani Valley Plantations Plc and Talawakelle Tea Estates Plc as a Non Executive Director.

Dr. Ranasoma currently serves as the Managing Director of Dipped Products Plc. Previously he served as the Country Chairman/Managing Director of Shell in Sri Lanka viz. Shell Gas Lanka Limited and Shell Terminal Lanka Limited.

He counts over 11 years of senior management experience in Shell and has over six years of R&D and teaching experience as a University Senior Texture in Civil/Costal Engineering.

He has also provided environmental management expertise as a consultant for major private sector and donor-funded projects in Sri Lanka, prior to joining Shell.

Dr. Ranasoma has a First Class Honours Degree in Engineering from the University of Peradeniya, a Doctorate from Cambridge University, UK and an MBA with Distinction from Wales University, UK.

Kelani Valley Plantations also announced the resignation of N. Yohan Fernando from the Board.
