Leif Eskesen to keynote Ceylon Chamber AGM

The 174th Annual General Meeting of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce is scheduled to be held on the 27 June 2013, at 5:30 p.m. at the Hilton Colombo.

The keynote speaker Leif Eskesen is the Chief Economist for India and ASEAN of HSBC Global Research, Singapore. Leif Eskesen joined HSBC in October 2010. Before joining HSBC, he worked for nearly 10 years at the International Monetary Fund’s headquarters in Washington, DC. In addition to macroeconomic and financial sector analysis, his responsibilities included advising governments on macroeconomic and structural policies. Leif has also held positions at Danmarks Nationalbank, one of Denmark’s largest commercial banks. He has published a number of papers across a wide range of macroeconomic topics and regularly appears on global TV networks.
