Laugfs Gas hosts Annual Dealer conventions in 5 towns

Creating memories that would last a life time for their regional dealers, the team from Laugfs Gas Limited (LGL) travelled the country to conduct their Annual Dealer Conventions with the objective of appreciating and recognising outstanding dealers who are a part of its extensive and fast growing dealer network – in the regions of Kurunegala, Puttalam, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Trincomalee, Badulla, Galle, Nuwara Eliya and Ratnapura.



Being the only indigenous LPG downstream player in Sri Lanka, LGL has steadily consolidated its market position since its entrance in the year 2001 and has grown at a much faster rate than the annual growth of the total liquid petroleum gas (LPG) market in the country. It has not only provided superior customer service but has endeavoured to build longstanding relationships with all stakeholders within its value chain. LGL has now firmly established itself as a force to reckon with within the Sri Lankan LPG landscape, and strives to offer arms reach availability to their valued consumers. As such, Laugfs Gas has identified that their dealers and distributors are one of the key factors that contribute to the delivery of quality products and services to its ever expanding and satisfied customer base. Timely delivery and availability coupled with value added customer service are considered as an inextricable aspect of any business and LGL has always ensured that they work on those lines to achieve excellence in these aspects by maintaining sustainable relationships with an island wide dealer and distributor network whose efforts ensure the availability of LGL products at every possible location for the Sri Lankan LPG consumer.

These dealer conventions, which were concluded as a resounding success – saw the participation of the top management, including Chairman of LGL -  W.H.K.Wegapitiya, Managing Director –  Thilak de Silva, CEO –  Mohan Perera, Consultant  –  Mylwaganam, Deputy General Manager  –  Heshan de Silva, Sales and Marketing Manager –  Eranga Amarakoon and Regional Sales Managers  –  Buddhuka Gunawardena, Uditha Dissanayake and Shirantha Palliyaguru as well as the dealers and distributors from all respective regions. Best achievers amongst the dealers in all the districts were rewarded for their tireless efforts in making yellow Laugfs Gas cylinders available for the consumer in the correct quantity and at the correct time. Awards were presented for the top achievers for all pack sizes marketed by LGL as well as for outstanding displays at dealer points and even surprise gifts were given away for winners of a raffle draw held at the time of the conventions. Prizes comprised TV sets, LP gas cylinders and weekend packages.

The award ceremony was followed by an open forum that served as a valuable platform for dealers to voice their compliments, concerns, and grievances to the management of LGL, whilst also paving the way for all dealers present to be appreciative of the fact that they were recognised for their contribution towards the success of their company. The convention was followed by fellowship and lunch.
