KPMG’s Sri Lankan member firm led THE LMD 100 Audit Reports Auditors League for the financial year 2011/12, this year auditing 41 of THE LMD 100 companies.
KPMG had continued to maintain the lead position in THE LMD 50 Auditors League, a previous index by publishers Media Services, where KPMG ranked first in terms of auditor market share for six consecutive years since the financial year 2005/06.
Commenting on the ranking, KPMG Sri Lanka’s Managing Partner, Reyaz Mihular said, “It is a privilege and honour for KPMG in Sri Lanka to have once again been identified in the lead position of the LMD Auditors League.
“Auditors serve an important role in relation to providing for good corporate governance and in creating a more stable corporate environment.
