Kattankudy in the Batticaloa District has joined the locations served by the Commercial Bank of Ceylon with the recent opening of the Bank’s 213th service point in the area.
A township which bears testimony to Sri Lanka’s trading roots and is one of the most densely populated areas in the country, Kattankudy will be provided access to the full range of facilities available at other Commercial Bank branches via the new branch, which has been computer-linked to all other branches and service points of the Bank islandwide to enable online real-time banking. The new branch supports the renaissance presently being experienced in the area with the provision of banking and financial services of international standards, the Bank said.
