Internet Entrepreneurship Forum tomorrow at J’Pura Uni

The new wave of entrepreneurship is about to be unleashed at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura tomorrow alone with the Internet Entrepreneurship Forum organised by the Rotaract Club of University of Sri Jayewardenepura in collaboration with the Department of Entrepreneurship, Faculty of Management and commerce. The event is held at the university premises from 10 a.m. onwards



The forum features three eminent personalities in the fields of social media, e-commerce and platform developers. The guest speakers of the event include Rohan Jayaweera- the Country Consultant for Sri Lanka at Google Inc, Riza Zarook – the CEO of Anything.lk, Indi Samarajiva, the renowned blogger and entrepreneur in social media who founded Yamu.lk and Kottu blog syndicator.

As a university with a rich diversity of student population who are prone to engage in entrepreneurial start-ups with the academic reputation for management studies and commerce, the University of Sri Jayewardenepura promises the ideal institution to host such a platform for budding entrepreneurs.  The content of the forum will primarily deal with the entrepreneurial social media initiatives, proper management of online tools and resources as internet entrepreneurs and the content creation and marketing aspects of online businesses through social media.

Hence this event promises to be a significant milestone in the Sri Lankan entrepreneurial awareness at the university level. The event is sponsored by SL2 College.
