Indian Foreign Secretary SubramaniamJaishankar was on a visit to Sri Lanka. The main purpose of his visit was to pave the way for the India-Sri Lanka Joint Commission Meeting which will be held in Colombo next month. Indian Foreign Secretary Jaishankar met Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade Malik Samarawickrama at his office for discussion. Indian High Commissioner Y.K.Sinha and higher officials of the Ministry and Indian High Commission were also present at the discussion.
