A 39-member business delegation from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Guangzhou, headed by Wang Xudong, President of the China Council, will be visiting Sri Lanka on an invitation extended by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka to visit Ayurveda Expo 2015 which is to be held from 3 to 5 July at the BMICH.
The National Chamber has organised a Business Forum Networking Lunch for members on 3 July from 12 noon to 4:30 p.m. starting with a Networking Lunch at the Chamber Auditorium No. 450 D.R. Wijewardena Mawatha, Colombo 10. There will be B2B meetings with the visiting delegates and their counterparts in Sri Lanka to explore the possibilities of expanding trade between the two countries.
Business interests of delegates are auto parts and electric cars, food and beverage, OPTO mechatronics, retail textiles, industrial park looking for investment opportunities, and service industry. The presenters at the sessions will be representatives from Board of Investment (BOI), Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) and Department of Commerce.
