Finagle introduces Frozen Ready-To-Bake range of bakery products

After 12 years of operation, Finagle Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. has broken new ground in the launch of its innovative range of “ready-to-bake frozen dough,” a boon to commercial food service providers. The pioneering venture was the culmination of a rich story of dedication, persistence, vision and hard work, which marks a milestone for the company and optimally positions it for future growth.

The launch was preceded by the initial introduction of the range that was presented by Finagle Lanka’s Managing Director Mahinda Ranasinghe to the company’s strategic business partners, the founder of Phoenix Ventures M.H. Omar, CEO of Brandix Lanka Ltd., Ashroff Omar and Brandix Directors Aslam Omar, Feroz Omar and Ajit  Johnpillai  last week at Brandix’s  Marco Polo restaurant.

It was followed by the launch and presentation of the frozen range to the members of the Chef’s Guild at Water’s Edge “Golf Terrace”.

A presentation on the company’s history leading up to the present launch was delivered by Finagle’s Head of Sales & Marketing Buddhi Ratnayake and President - Chef’s Guild of Sri Lanka Chef Tyrell Wasalathanthrie spoke on behalf of the baking professionals. A number of Chefs of leading Five Star Hotels and connoisseurs in the catering industry attended the function, where they were hosted to a baking demonstration and sampling of the novel frozen dough range. The products included a range of  Croissants, Chiabatta, White Baguettes, Brown buns, White soft rolls, Whole wheat rolls, Whole wheat baguettes and White soft buns.

“It has been a continual upgrading and strict adherence to world –class standards in order to leverage the strengths of our brand to evolve it into one that is even better,” said Belgian Master Baker and Finagle Lanka’s International Permanent Consultant Bob De Meyer. “Our new frozen concept is simple but impactful. It represents our brand promise, to consistently deliver premium quality baked goods to every one of our customers.”                                                        

Bob De Meyer is an internationally reputed baker with over 40 years experience, having worked in several countries including a stint of over 20 yrs. at Uniliver International. He is the guiding force behind every step of the company’s journey to excellence.
