Fairway Holdings supports recognition of SL’s foremost 20 best places for work in 2015

Great Place to Work Institute in partnership with Fairway Holdings will felicitate the top 20 companies in Sri Lanka that create great work environments on 10 June at the Hilton Ballroom. This is the inaugural sponsorship by Fairway Holdings of this coveted event which is being held in Sri Lanka for the third consecutive year. This year, more local companies joined the ranks to meet the exacting global criteria required to be professionally recognised. 

The eligibility criteria for these prestigious awards are very stringent with in-depth assessment. It follows a careful evaluation of all companies that qualify for assessment by the Great Place To Work Institute with attention given to important facets of employee satisfaction and work culture to determine the best work places for employees during the year. 2015 awards conclude yet another cycle of studying over 12,000 employees from over 60 companies that satisfied the entry criteria. This recognition is an encouragement for the top management teams to pave the way for even better work environments for their employees and create great work cultures enabling improved performance. 

The Great Place to Work Institute is of global research span and comprises a consulting and assessment organisation that helps companies to identify, create and sustain great workplaces through the development of high-trust workplace cultures. This organisation has been active since 1980 and garnered feedback from employees worldwide on what ideally constitutes a great workplace. The responses gathered from three decades and more have provided the pith and substance to define the work environs wherein employees find joy and solace in the sphere where they render the best for the employer in camaraderie with colleagues.
