Olympus Solutions will hold its “Employment Challenges Forum” on 18 May from 4.30 p.m. to 5.40 p.m. at the BMICH Conference Room D.
It will be conducted by Nicholas Bolto who is a Winston Churchill Fellow and is the Managing Director of Olympus Solutions, Australia’s highest performing employment services provider.
To improve the economic growth outlook for Sri Lanka, Nicholas has had constructive discussions with the Australian Government regarding an employment services pilot funded through the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
In many emerging and developed economies such as Cambodia, Australia and New Zealand, dealing effectively with employment challenges has become a catalyst for increased economic growth. This is achieved by improving the job match between employers who require skilled, talented labour and the available jobseekers.
Employment services are a means to assist people into jobs who have skills and training who may not otherwise be capable of securing a job unassisted. Such groups may include women, young people, veterans and people with a disability.
The Forum has been organised to introduce this new development to government, industry and business.
