We are happy that we have created job opportunities for many school leavers, and I must add that our company is doing well.”

“I have seen many other developed countries such as Singapore and Malaysia who use their young blood for the front office operations. It is working very well, and we are trying to adopt the same system in our office as well. Of course, the right training is a must and we provide a lot of internal and external training to our staff.”

Weerackody added: “BDP has helped us a lot to achieve what we are today with their global coverage and catering to our customers’ requirements. With BDP, we can handle any consignment from anywhere in the world. BDP’s strong areas are projects, Chemicals, Oil, Gas and IT. So, these strong points of BDP will definitely assist us to logistically involve with the current infrastructure developments in Sri Lanka as well.”
