DSI opens 203rd showroom

With the aim of unleashing another expansive approach in the form of the 203rd showroom, DSI has branched out in Wakwella Road, located in Galle, with yet another copious product offering for shoe shoppers down south. The new outlet is the fifth showroom to be introduced in Galle. The brand-new showroom was opened on 18 June, on a ceremonial note.

Relaying the embodiment of class, respect and trust through a brand name such as DSI, the company instigated this move, with their brand new establishment by bringing back offerings to the hometown where it had all begun!

The showroom houses an assortment of local and international brands such as DSI, 04-4Ranpa, Samson, Waves, Jessica (footwear and bags), Reebok, Fila, Liberty and Red Tape. On the opening day, DSI endowed customers with a 10% discount, setting in sight a gracious offering for a loyal clientele.

Customers who patronise the new outlet will be entitled to enter a draw, from 18 to 25 June, by filling out a special coupon provided by DSI and from which three lucky winners will be selected. All the winners will receive valuable DSI gift vouchers.

D. Samson & Sons Ltd is the main marketing and distributing arm of the DSI Samson Group and is also one of the largest retail networks in the country that provides footwear, accessories and apparel to the local market. D. Samson & Sons are the sole distributors for local footwear brands of DSI, Ranpa, Samsons, Jessica and AVI whilst also distributing international brands such as Reebok, Puma, Fila, Clarks, Liberty, Taminto, Redtape and Proline Fitness.

The celebratory showroom opening was graced by D Samson and Sons and Globe Knitting Managing Director Thusitha Rajapaksa, D. Samson and Sons General Manager Kaushalya Perera along with members from the senior management.

The DSI network spans more than 200 company outlets and 4,000 dealers and 50 sales representatives island-wide. The founder’s vision of creating a customer centric business is highly utilised in this company by carefully studying the market to provide the best products on demand, specific to that area and the customer at prices that are affordable to the local customers.
