Dhammika makes fresh mandatory offer for Hayleys

ENTREPRENEUR Dhammika Perera made a mandatory offer to shareholders of Hayleys Plc who hold 44,404,686 shares (59.206%) at Rs.380 per share.

Dhammika Perera held 25.339 % of Hayleys and on 1 September purchased 9.116% and in concert with Royal Ceramics Lanka Plc (5.037%), Vallibel One Plc (1.25%) and L.B Finance (.002%) hold 40.794% of Hayleys. Approximately 9,400 shares of Hayleys Plc were traded yesterday between Rs.386 and Rs.389.90 and the share closed at Rs.389.90. Perera is presently the chairman of Valibel One Plc and deputy chairman of Hayleys Plc among the many board seats in companies he holds.
