DFCC MindStar question book launched

Recently DFCC Bank launched the first volume of quizzes from its award winning reality TV quiz show — DFCC MindStar.

The initial copies of the book were presented to students of Sri Jayawardanapura Girls’ and Boys’ school by the General Manager of DFCC Bank Nihal Fonseka. 

The DFCC MindStar Quiz Book includes questions from the first 15 shows broadcast on ITN. Among the questions in the first volume are three questions that helped contestants win a million rupees each. It also includes a collection of background facts and information on the questions and answers provided on the show.

Speaking at the launch DFCC Bank General Manager Nihal Fonseka said: “DFCC MindStar has been a proud achievement for our organisation. To have been able to conceptualise and produce one of Sri Lanka’s most innovative and popular reality TV shows is truly remarkable for a long standing financial services organisation. MindStar was meant to create a path towards a knowledge based society by whetting viewer appetite for new information. In the process, the Bank has begun to build fruitful relationships with viewers. It’s a win-win situation and it is working for both sides.”

The first volume of the DFCC MindStar question and answer booklet is now available at all DFCC Vardhana Bank branches. The run up to the second season of MindStar is currently broadcast on ITN every Saturday at 9 p.m.
