Commercial Bank to provide ATM facility to Madhu pilgrims

The Commercial Bank of Ceylon has announced that it will operate a mobile ATM at the Shrine of Our Lady of Madhu from 15 to 18 May, for the benefit of thousands of devotees expected to attend Services during those days. This will be the first time that ATM facilities are offered at this location which is sacred to Catholics as well as to many others. This facility is being provided on a special request made by the Administrator of the Madhu Shrine, the bank said. The mobile ATM will be operational from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the three days it will be at the church premises and those holding Credit and Debit Cards issued by other banks would also be able to use this ATM. It will be serviced by Commercial Bank’s Mannar branch. The largest private bank in Sri Lanka and the only Sri Lankan bank to be listed three years consecutively in the world’s Top 1,000 Banks, Commercial Bank operates a network of 235 branches and 588 ATMs in Sri Lanka.
