Collate 2016, the innovative print conference for the printing and packaging sector, will be held at the Galle Face Hotel, said Collate 2016 Conference Secretary Sashi Hettiwatta.
The Collate print conference is held every alternate year in Colombo and attracts all print professionals and users of print packaging companies.
This year’s event will be followed by the exhibition and print awards night at Waters Edge. The theme for Collate Conference 2016 is ‘Harnessing Print Innovation for Global Competitiveness’.
Sri Lankan printers have taken the stand to attract many outsourcing opportunities by positioning Sri Lanka as the printing hub in Asia.
The conference includes the leaders of the industry who have been innovative in world class print and packaging products.
The resource personnel include McQuire, Rens and Jones Group Chairman Dr. Nalin Jayasuriya, Aitken Spence Printing Managing Director Prasanna Karunathilake, Canon Group Director Engelbert Stranegger, UN Global Compact Sri Lanka Network Representative Sutheash Balasubramaniam, SLT Publications CEO Malraj Balapitiya, Trelleborg Asia Director Technical Maniraju Bora, Printcare PLC General Manager Krishna Ravindran, Print USA Director Isuru Abeywickrama and JDC Group Director Marketing Meliza Cyril.
DIC Lanka Director Allan Perera and AGXA Global Executive Chairman and Collate 2016 Conference Chairman Anton Godfrey will moderate the sessions.
