Propelling the spontaneous Coca-Cola ‘Brrrrr’ Campaign to the next level, Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka today announced the launch of the ‘Brrr Wenna Swiss Yanna initiative.
The exciting summer initiative aims to target consumers across the Island and further spread the contagious refreshment of an icy cold Coca-Cola through the infectious ‘Brrrrrr’.
The unique and also one of the biggest consumer promotions in Sri Lanka was announced by Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Country Manager, Patrick Pech, along with Kumar Gaurav Singh, Region Marketing Manager, South West Asia.
Through this first of its kind initiative, eight lucky consumers will get the opportunity to win an all expense paid couple trip to Switzerland and feel the ‘Brrrrr’ like never before. In addition, over 160,000 consumers will get a chance to win prizes worth Rs. 3.8 million and over 100,000 free bottles of Coca-Cola.

Additionally, consumers will also get a chance to win cash prizes worth Rs. 3.8 million and over 100,000 free bottles of Coca-Cola.

To participate in this exciting initiative, consumers just need to purchase a bottle of Coca-Cola, Fanta Orange, Fanta Portello, Fanta Cream Soda or Sprite with special green coloured promotional crowns and look for a prize or a nine digit unique code under the bottle’s crown. The consumers then need to redeem the prize from the shopkeeper or SMS ‘Brrr’ followed by the nine digit unique code to 2580 from their mobile phones to win a full expense paid couple trip to Switzerland. The winners will be chosen through a computer generated lucky draw. This initiative is applicable on 175 ml, 300ml and 500ml returnable glass bottles. Ensuring that all consumers get an opportunity to participate in this initiative, the promotion is not restricted to a single mobile service provider. Consumers can SMS through any mobile service provider, namely Dialog, Mobitel, Etisalat, Airtel or Hutch (Excludes CDMA or Internet-based SMSs). The 360-degree marketing communication plan includes below-the-line initiatives involving out-of-home media, radio, print advertising etc. Complementing the on ground initiatives, a captivating TV commercial bringing out the cool proposition of ‘Brrr Wenna Swiss Yanna’, would be aired on all leading channels in Sri Lanka.
