Customers can specify order requirements, receive order acknowledgements, check stock availability and order status, receive shipping notices and generate purchase reports.
It is also linked with Coats’ SAP system in real time which reduces the fulfilment time. Additional features and benefits are planned to be incorporated during 2015 which will take the service beyond an online thread supply chain solution.

The service had a successful trial run in China and Indonesia and Sri Lanka is one of 11 countries where it is now being rolled out. Over 1,100 Coats customers are currently managing their orders via Coats e-Comm.
