The Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI) has made arrangements for Achiever Awards 2012 to be launched for the 11th consecutive year in the Country.
The official launch ceremony for the Achiever Awards 2012 and the press media briefing was held at Taj Samudra Hotel.
CNCI Chairman Preethi Jayawardena said that the CNCI was the first chamber institution in Sri Lanka which initiated and designed the unique Achiever Awards for the Sri Lankan industry and manufacturing sector almost 11 years ago.
The unique feature of these awards are that apart from the Sri Lankan industries operating locally , the Sri Lankan institutions operating in SAARC countries such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and Maldives are also awarded for their operational excellence .
The Achiever Awards are open to SAARC specific industries for participation with the recommendation of their country specific chambers of industry and commerce.
