CIC’ Golden Crop strikes Gold

CIC Agri Prooduce Exports won a Gold award at the National Chamber of Exports (NCE) Annual Awards ceremony for the Exports of Rice in the Agriculture Value addition Category. The cpmpany has been exporting traditional rice varieties including its flagship product Red Basmathi Rice under the Golden Crop brand to Australia, New Zealand, Canada, United States and the Middle East countries. The high quality rice varieties are grown in their own farms in Hingurakgoda, Pelwehera and Talawa and also sourced through a strong outgrower network of over 3,000 farmers mainly from the Mahaweli B and H zones in the North Central Province. The processing of the rice is carried out in their state of the art rice processing mill situated in Maho.
